My Name is Aaron Newton and I am the founder of Oklahoma fishing & Adventure. As the name says I am from North East Oklahoma. This is where I started fishing farm ponds as a kid. I was lucky enough to see fun fishing as well as sport fishing from a young age. I really fell in love with the sport fishing side. Once I reached adulthood I even did a few years of tournament fishing. I have a health issue that prevents me from tournament fishing anymore. Once I stopped tournament fishing I started my journey as a Youtube content creator as a founding member of 918Fishing. While I enjoy making fishing videos I found my passion when started teaching what I knew about fishing. This passion has led me to create my own Youtube channel, as well as this website. I want to give you all of the information that I can so your fishing adventure will be unforgettable. I will be using both Youtube channels to make fishing content that appeals to the masses. 918Fishing will be showing you the fishing trips and what we were able to catch. Oklahoma Fishing & Adventure will be breaking down our fishing trips and showing you what worked and what didn’t.

Hello, I’m Jesse Vang. I’ve been fishing in Oklahoma ever since I was old enough to cast a line. My earliest memories on the water are with my dad, who taught me everything he knew about fishing. Ever since then, I’ve been hooked—literally and figuratively.
For me, fishing is more than just a hobby. It’s a way to make memories that last a lifetime. Whether you’re fishing solo at sunrise or spending the day on the lake with friends or family, there’s something special about being out on the water. It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, experienced or new—anyone can fish, and that’s the beauty of it.
I also love the constant challenge fishing offers. There’s always something new to learn—different techniques, bait setups, seasonal changes, or ways to read the water. And just as much as I enjoy learning, I find joy in sharing what I’ve learned. Helping others improve their skills and watching them catch their first fish (or their biggest one yet) is one of the most rewarding parts of it all.
Fishing in Oklahoma has shaped who I am, and I’m grateful for every moment on the water. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned angler, I encourage you to get out there and start making your own memories.
